Conducted due diligence for multiple venture capital firms evaluating investment opportunities and private equity buyouts in the following markets; manufacturing and healthcare software, materials, semiconductor process equipment, and intellectual property.  The due diligence process included evaluations of markets, competition, products, technology, and people including executives, technologists and sales and marketing individuals.  Direct customer interviews were conducted to evaluate customer satisfaction levels.  Areas of strength, weakness, and possible growth were identified.  The potential impact on the financials and company value were assessed.  Interviews with other investors and board members were conducted to aid in the negotiation process.
